The aim of Information Systems (IS) is to deliver operational excellence in terms of IS / IT processes and services to our business customers. These services range from Helpdesk / Desktop support, Network, Video Conference facilities as well as application solutions for production, financial transactions, marketing, sales and after-sales activities. Services cover the European Headquarters, Regional Business Units, Production Plants, Technical Centres and the Dealer Distribution Network. This must be completed with full adherence to corporate and legal controls such as Japanese Sarbanes Oxley (JSOX) and audit compliance. The Nissan Africa, Middle-East, India & Europe (AMIE) IS / IT organization is part of the Global IS organization, and the IT Department is integrated into the Alliance IT Function in collaboration with our Alliance partners Renault. The IS / IT organization is split into four main functional areas namely: Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Research & Development IS (1); Sales & Marketing, Administration & Finance IS (2); IT Services Operational & Infrastructure (3); and IS Quality and Resource Management (4).
