General comments:
Will I get a company car?
Depending on your level, you may be entitled to a company car. This will be explained to you as part of the interview procedure. Additionally, all employees are entitled to a low-cost car leasing programme.
How long is the recruitment process?
All applicants are called for a minimum of two interviews: with our Human Resources department and the operational recruiting manager.
How will my application be evaluated?
We use uniform criteria to benchmark all applicants. Nissan continuously develops objective assessment methods.
Will my contract have a trial period?
Austrian and German law imposes a six-month trial period. Swiss law imposes a three-month trial period extendable to six months at the employer's discretion.
When will I be paid?
Pay slips are sent to all employees between the 27th and the 30th of each month.
What career development can I expect at Nissan?
Nissan HR is focussed on internal mobility and internal recruitment is always the first step for any newly opened vacancy. We encourage cross- functional mobility and exchanges of experience between Headquarters and Nissan subsidiaries in Europe or worldwide.

Will my travel expenses be reimbursed?
If you provide proper justification, we will reimburse your flight ticket with a lower cost company, your second class train ticket and your public transport fares. We will also reimburse use of a private car (0,30 Cent for each kilometer), subject to proper justification and in line with our internal policy. We cannot reimburse taxi or lunch expenses.
What sort of relocation package can I expect?
New employees from abroad are eligible for flight tickets for employee and family, relocation fees, agency fees to find an apartment and temporary housing for 3 months.
What collective agreement applies to Nissan Europe and Nissan France?
Germany : Manteltarifvertrag fr das Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe
Switzerland : Verband Zrcher Handelsfirmen
Austria : Kollektivvertrag fr Angestellte und Lehrlinge in Handelsbetrieben
If I'm not a French citizen, will my social insurance be covered?
All employees with a French employment contract are covered by French Social Insurance.
How will I get a work permit if I'm not an EC national?
The HR team will support new employees in getting a work permit.
