General comments:
Will I get a company car?
Depending on your level, you may be entitled to a company car. This will be explained to you as part of the interview procedure. Additionally, when filling all appropriate conditions, you may be entitled to a advantageous car leasing programme.
How will my application be evaluated?
We use a uniform criteria to benchmark all applicants. Nissan continuously develops objective assessment methods.
Will my contract have a trial period?
French law imposes a three-month trial period, extendable to six months at the employer's and employees' discretion.
When will I be paid?
Pay slips are sent to all employees between the 27th and the 30th of each month.
What career development can I expect at Nissan?
Nissan HR is focussed on internal mobility and internal recruitment is always the first step for any newly opened vacancy. We encourage cross- functional mobility and exchanges of experience between Headquarters and Nissan subsidiaries in Europe or Worldwide.

Will my travel expenses be reimbursed?
If you provide proper justification, we will reimburse your flight ticket with a lower cost company, your train ticket and your public transport fares. We will also reimburse use of a private car, subject to proper justification and in line with our internal policy. We cannot reimburse taxi or lunch expenses.
What sort of relocation package can I expect?
New employees from abroad are eligible for flight tickets for employee and family, relocation fees, agency fees to find an apartment and temporary housing for 2 months according to applicable Nissan policy.
What collective agreement applies to Nissan Europe and Nissan France?
The French Collective Agreement of Metallurgy.
If I'm not a French citizen, will my social insurance be covered?
All employees with a French employment contract are covered by French Social Insurance.
How will I get a work permit if I'm not an EC national?
Nissan Europe has an agreement in place with a specialized agency, which helps Nissan and each new employee obtain the necessary documents as soon as possible. To obtain your work permit, you will need to provide:

8 individual passport pictures,
2 copies of passport,
1 CV translated into French,
1 copy of your diploma translated into French,
1 birth certificate translated into French.
